Alert: Policy non-compliance on all our clients

Hey guys,

We are getting policy non compliance on all our endpoints (about 200) in Sophos cloud. The break down seems to be for all the different modules.

At first I thought it was because we used the migration tool and some thing went wrong with the migration. But I now can see devices I have added post migration cleanly are also affected.

I contacted support who suggested I clone the base profile and see if that fixes it but it has not.

Anyone else get problems with policy non compliance?

The settings I have configured in the policy appear to be applying correctly on the clients as well so not sure why they are showing these errors. Seems to be a false positive.

Thanks,

Rohan

  • Hello,

    If you are able to turn up the log level on the MCS Agent service that might give us the answer:
    www.sophos.com/.../119607.aspx

    E.g.
    <McsAgent>
    <logLevel>0</logLevel>
    </McsAgent>

    If you restart the MCS agent after updating the config. Wait 30 seconds, then open the MCS Agent log. It will have a more detailed comparison breakdown. Feel free to paste the relevant section.

    Regards,
