Users in Sophos Cloud

Hello,
in Sophos Cloud a distinction is drawn between users and devices. Actual there are 3 devices on my Sophos Cloud. I want to assign all the 3 devices to a single user. The present situation is, that Sophos Cloud shows 3 users, each with a separate device. The users are shown as DEVICE1\user DEVICE2\user DEVICE3\user. The local windows-users on the devices have all the same name. However what i want is that Sophos Cloud recognises all same-named windows-users as one (single) user. How can i do that?

  • Devices are mapped to Cloud users via the login.

The easiest thing to do here is to go into the Cloud user you want to represent the user. Click on modify logins on the left. Find the users names that you logon to the computers as and move them to the right. Click done and click Save at the bottom. You should now see the devices appear on the right under the user.

You can now remove the other cloud users, you can see that they no longer have the devices associated to them.

    Regards,
