Installing Sophos Cloud Endpoint client on Windows server 2012 (R2) and Hyper-V VMs.

Hello,

Can I install the cloud endpoint clinet on an actual Windows Server 2012 (R2) box and also on any VMs running on the box?
Is the cloud endpoint client per user or per device for a server install or can a single user install on multiple servers and VMs?

Hi,

You can install the endpoint on the 2012 server and any VMs.

The current version is based around user based policies. Having said that it seems there is a "Server" beta going to be starting in the next couple of weeks:

That will enable you to manage your servers with device based rather than user based policies and make the licencing easier.
