I wanted to test GIMP 3.0 RC1 but Sophos always blocks the start
It then shows: averted harmful behaviour 'Lockdown'

Hello Noneof Yourbusiness,
We appreciate your reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum.
I suggest you check whether the MR (Maintenance Release) version is installed on the device. If not, you can install it and check if sophos still blocks it.
The Sophos Central Intercept X maintenance release includes updates and improvements to the Intercept X software. These maintenance releases may contain bug fixes, security enhancements, performance improvements, and sometimes new features.
Please refer to this article for installing Maintenance Release on the device: https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KBA-000006447?language=en_US.
If sophos still blocks it, I suggest you perform the basic troubleshooting steps on the affected device.

Regards,
this is what I can find on version info:

Thank you for the information. I can see the MR version isn’t installed on the device. So please install the Intercept X maintenance release on the device.
Regards,
I don't know whether I have the authority to install this on my machine, but can you point me to where I can get it?
it might just be that you're launching it from the browser download. If you download the file, then in Explorer navigate to the file in your Downloads folder and run it, does it work?
... and where do I find the correct download?
Not sure I understand. I thought you were downloading a file via the browser and running it?
What I'm saying is, download the file via the browser. Then navigate in Explorer to the file you have downloaded and run it. I.e. don't run it from the browser download manager. Does that help?
Oh... right, now I get it! Sorry
I did as you suggested right the first time
Rutvika Chavda told me to try and install "MR" Version of some Sophos stuff. That is the download I asked for ;)
