Is it showing any specific error or it just stops recording? What is the version of Sophos installed?
No errors, just doesn't play, version
Just wanted to rule out if Sophos Central would block anything like that?
If it is blocked by Sophos central policy like application control you would receive a notification for the same. Could you please check under application event logs and check for the specific warning/error if you find it?

It does this to keep you informed about potential threats in your environment. That said, the extent of Sophos' involvement is monitoring and, if configured in the Sophos Windows Firewall policy, applying the appropriate Windows Firewall profile (Public, Private, or Domain) to the endpoint.
These settings are typically configured on the endpoint or via GPO in most environments.
Could you please check the status of the windows firewall policy on the endpoint?

Yes, Sophos is simply reporting it. It just reads the logs from Windows built-in firewall that you manage through your Group policy and uploads them to Central.
