QQ about policy enforcement mechanism

Hi Heroes,

New to Sophos and I'm currently testing Sophos central with Endpoint Protection and Drive Encryption products.

I saw I can set new policies but can anyone let me know how the new policy will be enforced? Is there has a time interval? and can I force policy updating for the managed clients? and additionally, where to find which policy is applied to the client? is there has a registry value or xml config files stored this information?

    Hi  

    The policy is enforced automatically on the endpoint once it contacts the Sophos Central servers, as long as it is enforced in the policy settings. You can see the time when the communication happens on the endpoint by opening up Sophos Central Endpoint > Click About > Open Endpoint Self Help Tool > Management Communication (Here you will see the last time the endpoint contacted Sophos Central). An endpoint usually communicates every couple of minutes. You can see all the policies applied on the endpoint on Sophos Central > Computers > Select desired computer > Policies.

    Hello Yashraj, do you know if there is a LOG file, or XML registry or Windows registry, where I can observe that the policies created in the Sophos Centra console are applied to the endpoint?

    Something that shows me on the endpoint that the policies are being applied and that the list of applied policies appears.
