Multiple endpoints show out of date in Central

Hello,

Today hundreds of my endpoints started reporting that they were out of date in Sophos Central. I'm seeing "Download of WindowsCloudNextGen failed from server http:∕∕dci.sophosupd.com." in the events in Central. The SophosUpdate.log file shows the following:
2019-12-09T22:05:41.410Z [ 2528:21248] [v6.1.356.0] ERROR [E53591] Stale update source: stale customer file: previously lastModified 2019-12-05T11:04:57Z, attempted to sync customer file with lastModified 2019-11-14T17:25:59Z

When I go to dci.sophosupd.com/index.html I get "Connection Successful"

Our license is up to date, and I can get to the site that is referenced in the event viewer and the log file. Any ideas?

Hi there,

Are you seeing any specific .dat files failing to get download in the logs files? If so, could you try to manually download the same? Also, kindly check and verify the username used for updating from C:\ProgramData\Sophos\AutoUpdate\Config iconn.cfg file.

Hi there,

Are you seeing any specific .dat files failing to get download in the logs files? If so, could you try to manually download the same? Also, kindly check and verify the username used for updating from C:\ProgramData\Sophos\AutoUpdate\Config iconn.cfg file.

Thank you for the reply. I think we've fixed this issue. I had to add all the Sophos URLs from https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/121936 to a rule that does not scan http for malware.
