Staff member on Big Sur EAP - Full disk Access Prompt

I have a staff member running Big Sur on his macbook Air with the EAP Software installed.

He keeps getting a consistent prompt from Sophos enpoint the Full Disk Access:  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ISfTijOlhfy7y4XGUCeNSbCjIEdRs4In/view?usp=sharing

I have confirmed he does have the following listed and checked in his Full Disk Access under Security & Privacy.

Why does he keep getting this prompt and what can I do to fix this?

  • SophosCleanD
  • SophosScanAgent
  • SophosServiceManager
  • Sophos Endpoint UIServer (Central Managed only)
  • Sophos Diagnostic Utility (from /Library/Sophos Anti-virus/tools/)

    Thanks for reporting this.

For the investigation, please provide the following:

    • Go into Central, find the device, and click on the generate SDU button
    • Once the sdu is uploaded, post the file name here so we can extract it and take a look
    • Have you allowed all the permissions for the product and rebooted the machine?
      • the reboot is important here - please make sure that was processed
