Hard Drive Replacement

I had a hard drive crash on my iMac and had to replace it. Everything was restored, but Sophos. It will not work. The icon on the menue bar is greyed out with an "X" in it. It will not uninstall so I can re-install. Any help will be a great relief for me.

Thank you Serra. As soon as my Time Machine backup is complete I will give the delete files a try. I tried to use the uninstall app, but no luck. It said uninstall was unsecessful.
