Is there a way to stop a virus definition download that is in progress? 

Sometimes when I am connecting over a slow internet connection Sophos starts a virus definition download that runs for a long time.  I am unable to stop it and this download effectively freezes the web browser.  I want some way to stop the current virus definition download and to keep it stopped until I have a better connection.  At this point my best solution is to uninstall Sophos until I get to a fater connection.

    Could this be added as a feature request?  I, like many users, frequently switch from high speed WiFi connections to more iffy mobile connections.  It would be very awkward to disable auto update every time. And that would present a bigger security threat than just cancelling a particular updaate in the case where one would forget to re-enable the auto updates.  So it would make the software vastly more user friendly to allow the simple capability to cancel a particular update.  This is much easier than uninstalling the software each time this happens which is what I do now.
