Download problems

Hello,

After reading positive reviews about SAV home edition for Mac I wanted to download this software.

First I got the message about compliance failure.

After that I received an email that it was solved and I could now download free SAV for Mac.

From Customer Service I get the following reply: " With regards to your query: Technical support for Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac Home Edition (free download) is only available through our website, and our online community called SophosFreeTalk. " I tried it through Free Tools.

According Customer Service I needed to create a My Sophos Account, which I did.

When I log in on my Sophos Account I get the following message: " Add the product license credentials for the Sophos products you have purchased to your MySophos account. Once added, you will be able to download these products from our website.

NOTE: Your product license credentials were provided on the Product License Schedule sent to you when you purchased your Sophos solution(s).  These credentials are not your MySophos login name and password. "

Can someone please explain what I am doing wrong ?

    You can download our free antivirus for Mac here.

    The MySophos account is only required for our Enterprise products, which is why it was asking about license credentials.

    I have tried the link which you sent me.

    I come as far as the button "get started".  When I click this I am prompted for my Sophos Account. When I submit this I get a failure message.

    I also tried another browser but get the same results. When I log in I get the message that there is an Export Compliance issue. This happened before and when I then get the message that I am accepted, I can not come past the Sophos Account.

    Sorry for the trouble but I really do not know what is going wrong.

    One thing I'm wondering: can you confirm the email address you provided when you signed up? Is it the same as the one you've used to create your account here on the forum? You can send me a PM if you don't want to post it publicly.

    The download link provided after agreeing to the EULA;

    simply results in;

    File not found."

    Unfortunately it seems there's a coupe different issues happening here. I was wondering, if you have a second, would you be able to try accessing the download again?

    This time, if you could provide:

    - A copy of the full URL on the page where you get the "file not available" message

    - A screenshot of any error messages you get

    We're having trouble reproducing the issue you're experiencing, so any extra info you can provide is really helpful.

    I'm curious if you've had any luck with this yet? I did a bit of reseach, and the export compliance error you recieved should have triggered an automated email response. In that email you should have gotten a caseID number, so if you could send me that caseID number I can take a look for you.
