Sophos App Keeps installing (duplicates)

I am new to Sophos, and believe I have it set up correctly.  I am running OS 10.10.3 on iMac.

I installed a couple of weeks ago, and have Sophos and Remove Sophos in one folder in by app folder.  Every few days whem I check, there is a second Sophos app, and a second remove Sophos app, in my app folder, separately (i.e. not inside a subfolder).  They are all same versions.  Anyone know what is causing this behavior?

My understanding is that Sophos updates the virual etc definitions automatically, and other than initial settings, I don't have to do anything to update. So I don't think I am doing anything to duplicate the apps.

    Hi Bobalaska,

    Hmm, intesting. I haveven't come across this happening before. Just to make sure I understand, you've placed the SAV app along with the remove Sophos app inside a sub folder in the Applications directory, so the directory structure would look something like this:

    /Applications/Sophos/Sophos Antivirus.app

    /Applications/Sophos/Remove Sophos Antivirus.app

    And then once in a while, a copy of each app appears in the same folder?

    Question for you - do the duplicates dissapear on their own, or do you delete them? Can you maybe send over a screenshot so I can see?
