Problems installing

Hi, I have a problem installing sophos anti-virus in my computer, every time I try to open the dowloaded file it sends me this message: "You can’’’’t open the application “Sophos Virus Removal Tool.exe” because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS X."

So I don't know if my mac isn't compatible or what

You have downloaded the Sophos Virus Removal Tool for Windows (a .exe file - Windows binary that won't run on Mac OS X). Delete that as you don't need it.

You need the savosx_he_r.zip file behind this form: https://secure2.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools/sophos-antivirus-for-mac-home-edition/free-download.aspx
