I keep getting malware that goes into Time Machine.

I keep getting malware that goes into Time Machine....  sophos cannot eliminate it.   I don't know how to manually eliminate it since Time Machine cannot be altered.  Or can Time Machine be altered?

    Hi David4, Sorry you've having trouble. In order to clean up a threat that's found it's way into Time Machine, you'll need to do a manual clean up. The following video will walk you though how to do that.

    Can you have a look and let us know if you're still having trouble?
