Geonei-C Cleanup Failed

I have a Macbook Pro running OS x 10.10.2 (Yosemite) and Sophos Anti-Virus 9.2.2.  SAV identified the virus Geonei-C in the folder InstallerS. When I clicked Clean up threat I got the message Cleanup Failed. 

Reveal in Finder works so I can find InstallerS - but what do I do now to get rid of the virus?

I have read dthe article 

but it does not seem to cover this situation
