Auto update failure

Just tried updating Sophos free Mac and got the error msg:

Could not contact primary server, url error". Later I got the error msg "Could not contact primary server. Authentication error" Both of these timed around 19:06 GMT

Anyone any idea what's going on? I'm a bit concerned I've got some malware that performs a URL redirect.

The menu bar 'shield' has a large X on it.

Hope we see an nswer soon. I'm seeing the same problem .Sophos 9.2.2. Just uninstalled and re-installed from a fresh download , same authentication issue still happens

Try again ... mine has been down all morning, but just came up. There were server access issues.
