Hey everyone,

We released version 9.2.2 to all Home Edition endpoints earlier today, this version contains the latest updates and is compatible with Mac OS X 10.10. Although the previous version (9.1.5) was also compatible, this update brings the latest improvements and refinements.

We also posted a new installer to our website today as well. Visit www.sophos.com if you need a copy.

  • Hi Rogert,

You can change the settings of what SAV should do when a threat is found if you go into the scan settings. To access this menu, follow the steps below:

    - Click the Sophos sheild menu icon

    - Click Open Scans...

    - Click the small gear icon at the bottom left

    - Click Scan Settings

    - Select the Options menu

Under this menu you will find a drop down menu, providing options for what SAV should do when a threat is detected whenever that scan is run.

In regards to the question of the corrupt file, it usually just means that SAV came across a file that is corrupt and may not have been able to properly scan the file.

Hopefully that helps, but let us know if you have further questions!
