OS X 10.9 and AutoUpdate never finishes?

Hi everyone,

We are looking into a problem that has been reported, and wanted to ask how many other people see this issue as well.

Problem: AutoUpdate seems to never finish (the menu bar icon keeps flashing its "downloading" pattern) on Mac OS X 10.9 "Mavericks".

Resolution: restart the SophosAutoUpdate process; in many cases this "cures" the problem for a while although it might come back.

We are very interested to hear from you if its happening on your machine, how often it happens, and what else might be running on your machine when it happens. Thanks for any input you can provide.

    Still want a sample?  It's happening to my Mac currently.  Stuck at 29.1kB

    ...so it's been trying to update since roughly 6am yesterday and the current time is 13:43 on 21st Jan.
