can't get rid of sophos

Someone PLEASE help me unistall this product! I have been trying to remove sophos from my MAC for 2 years...it never goes away...i tried the uninstaller before and nothing....now everytime I start my computer the sophos UIserver is open...I am no longer able to share photos to facebook ever since this happened...it won't let me force quit it either... i just removed the application tonight by throwing it in the trash including the unistaller...now i read that was not smart becuase fragments of the program still remain....how do i get rid of every trace of this program? I don't even know which version I have, I downloaded it 3 years ago and I'm running MAC OS X version 10.7.5...HELP

    You asked if he exactly followed the steps in the videos....the steps in the video is press the button that says uninstall. And he said in his original post that he used the unistaller. There isn't anything else to do with the uninstaller.

    I have the exact same problem. I have 7 uninstalled parts on my computer showing in Activity Monitor. One of which runs for a couple of seconds every couple of seconds and uses over 95% of CPU power when it runs.

    Please help.
