Install takes HOURS

Something clearly isn't right. I am doing an install on several computers. As far as I can tell there are no significant differences in the configurations. Using the same install file, one computer has been running for several hours to complete the "Running Executables" portion of the install. There are no error messages being generated, I've killed as many background applications as I can and yet it keeps going and going and going and...

Anyone have a clue?

  • I am having the same issue, also using the latest version of Yosemite. Been stuck on the "Running executables" screen for about a half hour. Would you advise letting it continue to run or kiling it? Any new insight into this issue?
