How do I remove talpa kernel modules?

I uninstalled the sophos software on my linux machine using the shell script however on reboot the kernel startup continues to load sophos Out-of-tree, Unsigned modules marked by (OE) specifically: talpa_vfshook(OE) talpa_pedconnector(OE) talpa_pedevice(OE) talpa_vcdevice(OE) talpa_core(OE) talpa_linux(OE) talpa_syscallhook(OE). How do I get them out of the kernel?

  • Sophos Anti-Virus doesn't add Talpa into the normal kernel module loading or the initrd. So I've got no idea how they could continue to be loaded.

I guess you could check that SAV has actually been uninstalled by checking if there is a savd process still running?
