Apple Time Machine backup very slow

Hi Community,

I have checked past post on this topic and they are from 4 years ago and reference old versions of software.

Has anyone had any success in modifying their XG to improve throughput of TimeMachine backups?  I am able to see the Time Machine disck (NAS or TimeCapsule) but it seems to take forever to 'prepare the backup' and once started it takes several minutes just to back up a couple of MB.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi ,

    Sorry for the delayed response. 

    I reviewed your configuration, and it seems there is no issue with the DoS protection and the IPS as there are no drops, as you mentioned. 

    I wonder if there are any interface level drops or traffic dropped by any other modules? Do you have any AV installed on the machine? 

    From the Advanced shell, could you please provide the output of "ifconfig" via PM?
