thumbprint leading to wrong app?

screenshots are difficult as it is transitional screens.

Generally I can repeat opening messages, pressing my fingerprint, messages opens but immediately switches to gmail (I do not have gmail notifications turned

RSA token is supposed to ask for prints but today did not - 2 days ago it asked twice before opening

Yesterday Contacts took me to chrome after fingerprint

If I go into messages via fingerprint then exit messages (perhaps using a second app for a minute) I get re-asked for my my fingerprint when I go back to messages despite being 2 mins (max) of my 10 minute grace period

I did wonder if it was relatd to pending notifications but GMail is not set up for notifications and neither is chrome

Since this is happening during the transitional screens, it would be great if you could record your screen and share the video. Alternatively, if you are using Sophos Mobile Control to manage the device, you can create a support case for investigation.
