I think that this KB needs some correction:
The KB says that:
"To get warranty cover for RED, AP and Passive XG series hardware then you need Enhanced Plus Support on the firewall device they are connected to." while the pdf licensing guide says:
"Sophos RED/AP support & warranty (beyond first year) is included in the Enhanced Plus support of the XG they are connected to"
Please make sure to correct the KB and to put an example where you have 2 XG in A/P and one example of A/A configuration, which support you need to buy. It is confusing at the moment.
