Will Bitlocker work with GPT Disk option?

We have a few LTs with GPT as the selected disk partition. The LT will have windows 7 ultimate or enterprise running. Will Bitlocker work as the encryption method for GPT windows 7(enterprise/ultimate)? Has anyone had this same scenario? Thanks,
