Console local install - files currently in use

I ahve a user in IT who has an encrypted machine. He's like to install the console locally so he no longer has to remote into the server but when he tries to install it lcoally he's told that he has files in use that need to be updated.

Safeguard Base Encryption service

Safeguard Device Encryption controller

Safeguard Kernal Feature Client

Safeguard Log Service

Safeguard Master Application WatchDog

Safeguard System Event Manager

Safeguard Transport Service

SGNAuthService

SGNMaster Application

Can we just stop these processes and install the program? The user is worried that stopping the processes could effect his computer since it's encypted.

thought you were talking about SEC, forget (part of) what I've said. Haven't looked into the SGMC MSI, looks like Ignore is not active.

OTOH How to update ... suggests this is a valid configuration so it must be possible to get past this pop-up. Usually if the package is authored so that Ignore is available selecting this path shouldn't cause any harm. Otherwise (but that's just a wild guess) an update of the Client package might be required.
