USMT and SafeGuard

Hello,

I am wondering if sophos is known to work with the user state migration tool built into windows or if i will need to remove encryption before proceeding with this process.

    Hi Bolton

    we have several customers that used USMT in the past. Although USMT in general should work on machine protected by the SafeGuard Client, we were facing one USMT specific issue in the last weeks for which a Knowledge Base Article will be available soon (Resume from Hibernation is not possible if a user account was restored using Microsoft USMT).

    Until the KBA is available: Should you face an issue with resume from hibernation on Clients where USMT has been used, make sure that the following registry key exists:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
