SED compatibility with Safeguard Easy Demo

Hello,

I recently purchased a Crucial M500 240G SSD that is an SED.  I installed the Safeguard Easy demo yesterday and it immediately began a software encryption of the drive instead of managing the SED.  I realize the demo profile is hard coded and wondered:  1) Is this hardcoded to perform a s/w encryption ONLY?  2) Is there a way to tell why it did a s/w encryption instead of utilizing SED management?  3) Is there a way to fix this so it does perform SED management?

I have a customer with 3 of these drives and they want SED management. If SG Easy does not work with this drive, then SG Easy is not a solution.  I have checked out:

But it does not answer any questions regarding this specific drive.  Thank you for your assistance.
