SafeGuard Enterprise 6.00.1 after Windows 7 restore. How to stop permantly shutdown or how it could be uninstalled?

Hi everyone,

we are using SafeGuard Enterprise 6.00.1 without device encryption at our company.

Yesterday i had to restore a Windows 7 x64 Enterprise maschine to a earlier point. But I forgot SafeGuard :(

After the restore (I've done it with Windows boardtools) the maschine directly shutdown after Windows startup. I think the local cache is corrupted.

So I tried the "Disable_LCIntegrityAndBackup" script form Sophos in Windows safemode. But the same as above and in safemode i couldn't uninstall or reinstall the SafeGuard Client or Configuration Protection.

The only way to enter Windows normaly is to disable all Sophos services in safemode and rename all Sophos / Utimaco folders and stop sgnmasterservice at startup.

Now I can repair / reinstall the Client. But if I want to uninstall configration protection the client wont pass the uninstall passcode. Without uninstall CP I only repaired the Sophos client. But after restart already the same ---> automatically shutdown.

I don't want to set up the maschine new. What can I do to uninstall or reinstall SafeGuard Enterprise?

Thanks for answering.

Greetings, Peter
