Is upgrading to enterprise 7 worth it?

It just seems kind of strange that there were huge annoucments for 6.1 but I haven't heard anything about 7.  Are there any huge improvements that people have noticed? Especially with the managment console?

And the release notes don't really help much.  Just a bunch of known issues.

  • Hey coreyc,

version 7 of SafeGuard Enterprise is focused on stability, performance and improvements of the SafeGuard BitLocker Client. The most noticeable changes would be:

    On Windows:

    • Enhanced BitLocker PIN support
    • Support of BitLocker password protector on Windows 8 and 8.1
    • BitLocker recovery key export for managed BitLocker C/R clients in the Management Center
    • Automatic TPM initialization if a TPM is needed during BitLocker activation
    • BitLocker PIN/Password reset after BitLocker recovery by users without privileged rights
    • Local Self Help enrolment enforcement (users are now getting frequently “reminded” to answer LSH questions)
    • File tracking log events for files managed by the Cloud Storage module
    • Enhanced token /smartcard support (several new middleware versions in the Device Encryption POA of W7)
    • Backend performance improvements

    On OS X:

    • Re-factoring of file encryption so that the original mount points are no longer visible for the user (hidden)
    • Performance improvements for File Encryption
    • Cloud Storage provider auto detection

    ChrisD
