SafeGuard LANCrypt with Trend Micro Anti-Virus

Hi All,

I have a machine that installed Trend Micro Anti Virus V10.5.1997. When I installed SafeGuard LANCrypt V3.9. The network encryption folder have no problem. If I setup an encryption folder at local. The file cannot copy to / out at encryption folder. If I uninstall Trend Micro, the file copy back to normal. Is that any incompatible between these two software? please advise. Thanks.

    Hi,

    this is an unknow issue. Did you add exe file from trend Micro intoSGLC Admin? central setting---->right click and properties---->Antivirus Tab----now can add the exe file from Trend micro. You can find exe file in Task Manger or in release notes known isssue. After the changes dont forget to build profile for the user. unload and load encryption on the client that changes can be applied to the client. If it does not solve the issue please open a support case.

    Please also check the release notes section known issue.

    I tried to add the antivirus scanner at central settings, and re-generated the profile. but the issue still exist. thanks.

    The issue was resolved by exclude the encryption path at Trend Micro. Thanks all.
