Ive been trying to research how to upgrade windows from win 7 home to win 7 pro on my machine with safeguard installed. I have tried to do it after I decrypted the drive but in the middle of the installation when it reboots i get a BSOD and the installation fails. Do I need to completely remove safeguard and the decryption? I do not want to do a clean install. Unless that is absolutely the last possible thing. I would like to do an in place upgrade to save all the files and settings. Thanks in advance
