Report of Local Self Help Status

Question

Is it possible to generate a report of the Local Self Help status of machines in the SafeGuard database? I can't seem to find anything in the SafeGuard Management Console or the database itself, and the only registry keys I could find relating to it on an encrypted PC (HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Utimaco\SafeGuard Enterprise\InstallConfig\) didn't seem to reflect the actual status.

Our IT managers would like to get a report of users who don't have it enabled so as to encourage them to turn it on.

Hi pschultz, the Local Self Help status for users is only stored on the SafeGuard Enterprise Client itself and not in the Database. If you want to create a report that relies on the Database, you would need gather the information from the EVENT table to monitor the following SafeGuard Local Self Help events Client 3035 LSH was activated. Client 3040 LSH was deactivated Client 3045 LSH is available - Enterprise Client Client 3046 LSH is available - Standalone Client Client 3050 LSH is disabled - Enterprise Client Client 3051 LSH is not available - Standalone Client This might not be fully accurate as some clients might be unable to connect to the SafeGuard Enterprise Server to upload their events. With SafeGuard Enterprise 7.0, in addition to already existing LSH features, the user is now more often politely asked to answer his LSH questions in 3 stages: Stage 1: Balloon tooltip in tray icon every hour, change to stage 2 on next calendar day Stage 2: Additionally to stage 1 behavior, LSH will be started every logon and unlock and user can postpone. Changes to stage 3 after 2 days  Stage 3: Additionally to stage 2 behavior (except the tooltip) LSH will be started every 60 min and user can postpone Regards, ChrisD :55068
