Hi,

Unmanaged client refers to standalone right.But, my concern is if a user who is in the organization managed by CDE and now he has gone onsite means roaming in that case he forgot the password how can i recover it??

Accounts with the Helpdesk, Admin or Super Admin role have the required permission to retrieve a recovery key in Sophos central console. Please check this article which lists out the steps to retrieve recovery keys.
