Is it compatible Safe Guard Disk Encryption with OS X El Capitan?

Hi,

I did an upgrade to OS X El Capitan and SafeGuard Native Device Encryption 7.0 stopped working. I can not load the configuration to synchronize with SGE Manager.

Is there any way to fix it?

Regards

    Hi Diego,

If you are already using SafeGuard version 7.0.0 on a system, currently running OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) or a previous OS X version, an OS upgrade to OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) will remove important parts of the SafeGuard Clients which for example prevents access to encrypted files.

We therefore highly recommend upgrading the SafeGuard File Encryption and Disk Encryption clients to version 7.0.2 before upgrading the OS. This Service Release is available as a separate download in the download area of Sophos.com.

If you are performing a new installation of SafeGuard on a system already running OS X 10.11 (El Capitan), you will need to install version 7.0.2 for it to work.

    Hope this helps.
