ISSUE: Sophos Email appliances running 4.2.0.2

After upgrading to 4.2.0.2 you may face several issues with the new anti-spam engine lase. They are known issues we are working to address. Please open a support case with us and let me know in the comments if you have a case open and haven't heard back. Updates on the issue will be provided in this thread.

  • same problem here on ES1000...

    mails with more than 10 recipients are quarantined (spam engine failed)
    appliance is slow (webinterface extremely sluggish)
    sometimes errors that mails cannot be processed due to timeout (processing error, those are quarantined as well)

    hoping for a fix soon...
