best way to deploy email appliance

Hi,

we have been using some other smtp gateway until now. Getting ready to deploy Sophos email appliance for antispam/antivirus/encryption but this differs from something we used to do since this appliance has only one network port. I would like to ask you guys, what would be best option for deployment where I have enough IP addresses in "live" or public DMZ.

    We just opened port 25 and pointed it to the email appliance.  On the email appliance we set the internal exchange server as a destination and that's about it.  It setup actually pretty quick.  You may need to set your email server to accept email and to send email to the appliance though.
