Enterprise Console RMS not supported

Hello everybody,

After upgrading and installing SQL Databases 2014 on Windows Server 2012, we are trying to upgrading Sophos to a newer version (5.4).

But the setup shows this error message:

ERROR : System Property Check: Endpoints with old RMS cannot handle SHA2 therefore they will not be able to communicate with management console - FAILED.

How could we do?

Help & thanks!

  • Hello uri diz,

upgrading Sophos to a newer version (5.4)
AFAIK this requirement (and check) has been introduced with SEC 5.4.1 - thus an upgrade to 5.4.0 should work, you can download it from the link besides the text Looking for earlier versions? Click here
Please note that a Recommended version for Linux and UNIX with the RMS version required for SEC 5.4.1 will not be available before Jan (more likely Feb) 2017. If you have only Windows and Mac OS X endpoints then some of them either are no longer reporting (for quite some time) or have updating issues.
