Enterprise Console RMS not supported

Hello everybody,

After upgrading and installing SQL Databases 2014 on Windows Server 2012, we are trying to upgrading Sophos to a newer version (5.4).

But the setup shows this error message:

ERROR : System Property Check: Endpoints with old RMS cannot handle SHA2 therefore they will not be able to communicate with management console - FAILED.

How could we do?

Help & thanks!

  • HI uri,

Hope the steps below would resolve your issue.

    1. If running an unsupported version, check the release calendar for information on the release dates for the version that supports TLS 1.2. Until the release, Sophos Enterprise Console from version 5.4.1 cannot be installed.

For more details, see Sophos Antivirus: version release dates in the Related Information section.

    2. If you're running an unsupported version, but still want to install Sophos Enterprise Console from version 5.4.1. For example, the managed computers are no longer required, you will need to delete the computers from the Endpoints view:

      1. Right click an individual computer and select Delete.

        or

      2. Select multiple computers, right click and select Delete.

Note: To determine the version of Anti-virus installed on the computer/s you want to delete, select the Anti-Virus Details tab.
